About the Course
Welcome to our Itch.io page, where we proudly present students' creative work from the UAL Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma in Creative Media Technology - Games Development course at Coleg Menai. This course is designed to provide students with comprehensive game design, programming, and development skills, preparing them for gaming careers.
Student Games
Our students have created an impressive array of work, including captivating 2D graphics and detailed 3D models using Maya and Blender. They have programmed engaging games in Unity and Game Maker Studio 2, demonstrating their versatility and technical skills. A highlight of the course is the Game Jam, where first-year students team up to develop a 2D game demo in just two weeks, fostering creativity and collaboration. Additionally, as part of their final major project, both first and second-year students create their game-related products, showcasing their individual talents and comprehensive understanding of game development.
